And just like that it’s over! Our Vision Trip has concluded and we’re back in Michigan now.

We started our month long trip from Seattle, flew into Guatemala, then flew to Costa Rica, then flew “home”––wherever that is––to Michigan.
I was expecting to walk out of Grand Rapids airport and be greeted by the bite of the beginnings of Michigan winter, but instead was met by a warm night, comparable to a night in Costa Rica! Nevertheless, that night was an anomaly, and now we’re getting down to the low 40s. A lot colder than CR.

We are very pleased to announce that this trip to Central America was very helpful for us. It gave us a way more clear picture on what it looks like to be at an AIM base, and where there is need. We are pretty sure we know where we’ll be headed, but now we have to formally apply for the positions at the AIM bases.

Anna was blown away by the size of the mangoes

When it’s official, we will let everyone know our destination and next steps!

One highlight from this trip I would like to share, is from when we were able to encourage and impart to the Gap Racers before ministry. I think I mentioned in a previous blog that I was very pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed getting to be a part of these young people’s lives for this short period of time.

This story happened in Costa Rica, where a team of girls was blown away how Holy Spirit showed up. Our new friend Kenzi does an awesome job at telling the story here.

An interaction that brought us to tears that Kenzi talks about in her blog

Thanks for your support and following us, you will hear from us soon!
